This Privacy Policy explains what information You Should Be Trading LLC ("YSBT," "we," "us") collects when you use our website, member portal, and community platforms (the "Service"), and how we use, share, and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and payment details you provide when you sign up or subscribe.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, quiz progress, and similar activity within the member portal, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Community content: messages you post in community chat, visible to other members.
• Approximate location: we derive an approximate country and region (e.g. state or province) from your IP address when you use the member portal, and use it to place an anonymous dot on the community map so members can see where the community is active. Before it is stored, the coordinates are deliberately randomised by up to roughly 50 km, so the dot indicates a general area and not where you actually are. We do not store your city, we do not store the precise coordinates, and the dots on the map are not labelled with any member's name, email, or identity. You may also set a country yourself in your profile; that is shown in place of the derived one.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To process payments and manage your subscription;
• To send you service-related emails (billing, account, content updates) and, if you opt in, marketing emails;
• To enforce our Terms of Service and keep the community safe.

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to operate parts of the Service, including authentication (Clerk), payment processing, email delivery, and internal record-keeping (Notion). Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and only for the purpose of providing that service to us. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us, subject to records we're required to keep by law.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
